GOOD QUESTIONS

Before the bubbles.

Everything you might want to know before your dog’s first Potteries Love Paws visit.

01How long will my dog’s groom take?

Every coat and character is different. We’ll give you a realistic collection time when you book, then message as soon as your dog is looking fabulous.

02My dog is nervous. Is that okay?

Absolutely. Tell us what helps them feel safe and we’ll plan a slower, gentler visit with breaks where needed. Your dog’s comfort comes before a perfect haircut.

03Do you groom dogs of every size?

Gemma specialises in small and medium dogs. If you’re unsure whether your dog is the right fit, send Gemma a message on Facebook and she’ll be happy to advise.

04How much will my dog’s groom cost?

Pricing depends on breed, size, coat condition, temperament and the treatment you choose. Share a few details and Gemma will confirm a clear price before the appointment.

05What should I tell you before the appointment?

Their breed, age, coat condition, health needs, temperament and the look you’re hoping for. The more we know, the better we can tailor their groom.

06Can I stay during the groom?

Most dogs settle more easily without their person in view, but we’ll always talk through any concerns and choose the kindest approach for your pup.
